The AUSCompliance HLTAID003 Provide First Aid course trains you in the appropriate response to first aid emergencies that may happen in the office, at home, or elsewhere.
Our first aid course is designed for first aiders to manage patient care until the arrival of an ambulance or medical assistance.
We hold first aid public courses weekly and also provide onsite training for groups of 10 or more.
Principles of first aid & legalities
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Fractures, sprains and strains
Soft tissue injuries
Choking and airway obstruction
Eye and facial injuries
Envenomation (using pressure immobilisation)
Medical illnesses: epilepsy, asthma, anaphylaxis, stroke, diabetes etc.
Professional Development for GPs
Our Provide First Aid course is approved as professional development for General Practitioners (registered with ACRRM). Completion of our Provide First Aid course is 10 PDP points plus 10 Emergency Medicine MOPS points.

You will receive a 30-minute break for lunch. You may bring your own packed lunch, or purchase food from one of the nearby cafes/supermarkets.
We also recommend that you bring a water bottle.
Please note: cooking facilities are not available
Online pre-course study is required to be completed prior to your training.
On the day you will be assessed using a mixture of theoretical and practical exercises.
On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a statement of attainment.
This first aid course is valid for 3 years, however the CPR component needs to be renewed annually.
