CONFINED SPACE ENTRY GROUP TRAINING

Overview

Our nationally recognised confined space group training is catered to people working within industries such as mining, civil construction, mechanical engineering and drilling. This course is designed for persons entering in confined spaces for work and those acting as a standby person. On successful completion of the course participants will be competent in working in confined spaces, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments and operating various safety equipment.   • Identifying confined spaces
  • Hazard identification
  • Australian Standards & relevant legislation explained
  • Roles & responsibilities of management & employees
  • Risk assessments & hierarchy of hazard controls
  • Confined space entry permits awareness
  • Confined space safety equipment usage (harnesses, tripods, winches, spreader bars etc.)
  • Worksite policy & procedures
  • Lock-out, tag-out and methods of isolation
  • Atmospheric monitoring and gas detection awareness
Entry Requirements

It is a physical entry requirement that you are fit enough to work in confined space environments and able to wear personal protective equipment.

Full Course 14 Hours (face-to-face mode) Refresher Course 7 Hours (face-to-face mode) *Note: Course times may vary & will be provided upon enrolment

Payment Terms & Refund Policy

Payment must be made prior to the course date to secure your booking. Payment options include: Direct into our account via EFT, or over the phone with a debit/credit card. Cancellations or transfers must be received 3 business days prior to training or a fee may be incurred. A full refund will be applied if you give at least 3 working days’ notice. Auscompliance Pty Ltd may apply a full refund given at our discretion in some circumstances where less than 3 working days’ notice is provided.

Assessment

Award Issued

On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a statement of attainment. There are no legislative requirements in regard to validity periods for this type of training. However, the industry recommendations are as follows: MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres - 2 years RIIWHS202D Enter and work in confined spaces - 3 years
